Mistral Le Chat
OAuth-only custom connectors — same pattern as ChatGPT, not API key.
Le Chat's custom MCP connectors support No Auth, HTTP Bearer/Basic Auth (via the Authorization header), or OAuth 2.1 — there's no arbitrary custom-header option, so Spomory's x-api-key endpoint doesn't apply here. Only the OAuth mount (the same one Claude Desktop uses) works. Verified end-to-end against a real Le Chat account.
Cloud (OAuth 2.1)
In the sidebar: Intelligence → Connectors → Add Connector → Custom MCP Connector tab:
- Server URL: https://api.yliuai.com/mcp
- Description: optional, but helps the model decide when to use it
- Click Connect — Le Chat detects the OAuth requirement and completes the authorization flow automatically
Verified end-to-end against a real Le Chat account, resolving to the same account/memory graph as every other client on this page.
Make it actually get used
Connecting the tools doesn't mean your client reaches for them on its own — it needs to be told to call search_memory before answering and add_memory after you share something worth keeping. SKILL.md is a short instructions file that does that. How you load it is specific to each client: some auto-discover a skills folder the same way Claude Code does, others only have a custom-instructions or system-prompt field instead. Verified for this one:
Le Chat has no skills-folder concept — paste SKILL.md's content into Intelligence → Instructions in the sidebar instead.
